Abstract
⺠We investigated the constituents of the bark of Endiandra kingiana. ⺠Activity-guided isolation led to the discovery of 14 polyketides as racemic mixtures. ⺠The compounds possess an unprecedented pentacyclic framework. ⺠Seven coupled of enantiomers were obtained after chiral separations. ⺠Six compounds exhibited significant binding affinity for the antiapoptotic protein Bcl-xL.
