Abstract
⺠Specific changes in cell wall neutral sugars occurred over the course of silique development. ⺠O-Acetylated xyloglucans increased in the last stage of silique development. ⺠A strong decrease in the degree of methylesterification of pectins was measured. ⺠This was related to changes in PME activity.
