Abstract
Deoxy-xylulose phosphate synthase (DXS) catalyzes the formation of 1-deoxy-d-xylulose 5-phosphate (DXP) from pyruvate (PYR) and the d-glyceraldehyde 3-phospate (GAP). Using stable isotope technique of 13C we investigated DXS activity in Grey poplar leaves.
