TNF-α inhibitory diterpenoids from the Chinese mangrove plant Excoecaria agallocha L.

Six ent-kaurane diterpenoids named agallochaols K-P, an atisane-type diterpenoid agallochaol Q, along with eight known diterpenoids were isolated from the mangrove plant Excoecaria agallocha L. Some of the isolated compounds suppress the expression of TNF-α and IL-6 induced by LPS, and block NF-κB and AP-1 activation.
