Abstract
⺠This paper highlights the biotransformation of α-mangostin by endophytic fungi. ⺠This is the first report on microbial transformation of α-mangostin. ⺠Four previously unknown xanthone-derivatives were isolated. ⺠All compounds were evaluated for anti-mycobacterial activity. ⺠One exhibited highter anti-mycobacterial activity than the substrate.
