Abstract
► Eight new N9-substituted derivatives of Kin were prepared. ► Their cytokinin activities in three bioassays were investigated. ► Compounds with highest biological activities were N9-halogenoethyl derivatives. ► 2-Chloroethyl derivative stimulates proliferation at higher concentrations than Kin. ► Derivatives are interesting for future applications in biotechnology and agriculture.
