Abstract
Expression of the soybean (Glycine max) calmodulin isoform-4 (GmCaM-4) gene, a component of the response to pathogen stimulation, is regulated through interaction of the GmZF-HD1 protein with a specific AT-rich/AG-containing cis-element (E3) in the GmCaM-4 promoter.
