Abstract
Cassaine diterpenoid-diterpenoid amide dimers (1, 3 and 5) and cassaine diterpenoid amides (6 and 8-13), along with three known related alkaloids, were isolated from Erythrophleum fordii. These structures were determined using spectroscopic methods. The cytotoxic activity of the compounds was tested against a small panel of cell lines. Some compounds exhibited significant cytotoxic activities.
