Abstract

âº RNAi-mediated reduction of ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) in tobacco. âº Jasmonate treatment of RNAi-ODC hairy roots increased the anatabine:nicotine ratio. âº Wounding did not increase ODC transcript in roots of ODC-RNAi transgenic plants. âº Wounding of ODC-RNAi transgenic plants increased the anatabine:nicotine ratio.
