Abstract
A glycosyltransferase gene toolbox has been developed in Freiburg. The toolbox contains more than 70 genes useful for creating natural products. Structural elements important for substrate recognition and specificity of glycosyltransferase are more and more understood and we have started to generate artificial enzymes.
