Abstract
Blossom volatile composition patterns from eight citrus cultivars were sufficiently different to suggest that they could be a useful part of an overall chemical taxonomy system. The mandatory cross-pollinating pummelo was characterized by significantly higher levels of bee attracting volatiles such as linalool and 1-hexanol than self-pollinating cultivars.
