Abstract
Three endiandric acid derivatives, beilschmiedic acids A, B and C were isolated from the stem bark of Beilschmiedia anacardioides. Their structures were established by stpectroscopic means. Beilschmiedic acid C showed strong antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus luteus with MIC ⩽ 5.60 μM for both strains.
