Abstract
Fabacyl acetate, a germination stimulant for root parasitic plants, was isolated from root exudates of pea (Pisum sativum L.) and its structure was determined as ent-2â²-epi-4a,8a-epoxyorobanchyl acetate. Fabacyl acetate was one of major strigolactones in Fabaceae plants.
