Abstract
CHCl3-soluble extracts from flowers of Ipomoea murucoides, through preparative-scale recycling HPLC, yielded five linear hetero-tetrasaccharides of jalapinolic acid, murucoidins XII-XVI, which displayed resistance modifying activity against strains of Staphylococcus aureus possessing multidrug efflux pumps.
