Abstract
An inverse relationship between the amount of CouAGÂ +Â FeAG and the molecular mass of lignan macromolecule from flaxseed hulls was found, suggesting that lignan macromolecule is terminated by CouAG and/or FeAG. It is hypothesized that the amount of CouAGÂ +Â FeAG present during biosynthesis determines the chain length.
