Abstract
Cumin is commonly used as a flavoring and seasoning agent in foods. This communication reports the characterization of a small basic protein nsLTP1 which is involved in nonspecific transport of lipids between membranes. The nonspecific lipid transport proteins are also known to participate in plant defense against fungi or bacteria.
