Abstract
Extract of culture broth of a Stereum species afforded five cadinane sesquiterpenoids, named stereumin A (1), B (2), C (3), D (4) and E (5). Their structures were assigned on the basis of various spectroscopic studies. Compounds 1-5 showed nematicidal activity against Panagrellus redivivus at 400 mg l−1.
