Abstract
Secondary metabolites, spiromassaritone (1) and massariphenone were isolated from extracts of the marine-derived fungus Massarina sp., strain CNT-016. Their gross structures were initially established by a variety of one- and two-dimensional NMR experiments, and subsequently confirmed by X-ray diffraction methods.
