Abstract
The chemical composition of Santolina corsica essential oil was characterised by the occurrence of irregular monoterpenes. The structure of three compounds, lyratyl butyrate, isolyratone and epi-isolyratol was elucidated. The essential oil was effective against Staphylococcus aureus and C. jejuni.
