Abstract
Two biflavonoids, 3â²-O-methyl loniflavone [5,5â³,7,7â³-tetrahydroxy 3â²-methoxy 4â²,4â´-biflavonyl ether] and loniflavone [5,5â³,7,7â³,3â²-pentahydroxy 4â²,4â´-biflavonyl ether] along with luteolin and chrysin were isolated and characterized from the leaves of Lonicera japonica.
