Abstract
A reversed microemulsion method was developed to prepare the nano-sized Ce–Zr–Sr ternary mixed oxide (Ce0.67Zr0.33Sr0.03O2.03) with a good thermal stability and high surface area up to 150.6 m2 g−1. The measurements of the dynamic oxygen storage capacity (DOSC) and H2-TPR showed that Sr-incorporation improved remarkably the DOSC of mixed oxide and low temperature activity when used as TWC support. As a result, the Pd-only TWC based on the Ce–Zr–Sr mixed oxide support exhibited the improved TWC performance with an amplified amplitude of stoichiometric window.
