Abstract
- Cholinesterase inhibitory activity of 17 Tanacetum sp. was examined.
- Parthenolide amounts were determined in the acetonitrile extracts by LC-MS.
- The extracts displayed a remarkable AChE inhibition and moderate BChE inhibition.
- The leaf of T. argenteum subsp. flabellifolium had the highest AChE inhibition.
- The leaf of T. argenteum subsp. argenteum was the richest in parthenolide.
