- The phytochemistry of three medicinal South African Hypoxis species was explored.
- Conventional column chromatography was used to isolate phenolic glycosides.
- High performance countercurrent chromatography separated norlignan glycosides.
- Orcinal glycoside (H. colchicifolia) and galpinoside (H. galpini) are reported.
