Abstract
- Crude extracts of Peruvian Hypericum spp. exhibited antidepressant-like activity.
- These extracts were analyzed by TLC, HPLC-DAD and UPLC-DAD/Q-TOF-MS.
- The extracts were rich in flavonoids, principally hyperoside.
- Dimeric acylphloroglucinols were minor components of the extracts.
