Abstract
A rotenoid, 6α-hydroxy-α-toxicarol (1), and a flavone, (+)-tephrodin (2), were isolated from Tephrosia villosa and Tephrosia purpurea, respectively. These compounds along with known flavonoids showed good-to-moderate antiplasmodial activities.
