Abstract
The structures of 3-hydroxydehydroiso-α-lapachone and 3,8-dihydroxydehydroiso-α-lapachone, isolated from the heartwood of Heterophragma adenophyllum, were reinvestigated. Analyses by Mosher's method, X-ray crystallography and VCD method required the relative and absolute stereochemistries of the two compounds to be revised.
