Abstract
- Chemical reassignment of two prenylated flavanones from Dalea elegans is proposed.
- Other four known C-methyl flavonoids were isolated from aerial parts.
- Inhibition on tyrosinase enzyme activity is evaluated in vitro for these compounds.
- 2â²,4â²-Dihydroxy-5â²-(1â´,1â´-dimethylallyl)-8-prenylpinocembrin inhibits tyrosinase.
- This prenylflavanone is a competitive inhibitor of the tyrosinase enzyme.
