Abstract
- Two new and seven known steroidal saponins were isolated from the rhizomes of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis.
- Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence.
- Compounds 4-9 exhibited cytotoxicity against two human cancer cell lines.
