Abstract
Two new cycloartanes and a new friedelane, caloncobic acid C (1), caloncobalactone C (2) and glaucalactone B (3), respectively, were isolated from the methanol extract of the leaves of Caloncoba glauca (Flacourtiaceae). Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses. These compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory activities against 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 and type 2.
