Abstract
- Two novel cadinane-type sesquiterpenes were isolated from Nectandra amazonum (Lauraceae).
- The structures were assigned by NMR and MS spectroscopic techniques and DFT molecular modeling.
- Identified sesquiterpenes are important for chemotaxonomy in Nectandra.
