Abstract
Eight new monoterpene acylglucosides (1-8) as well as two known monoterpenes (9-10) were isolated from the aqueous extract of the aerial part of Sibiraea angustata. A preliminary evaluation of these compounds in hypolipidemic activities is presented. A concoction of Siberaea angustata is widely used in west China for treatment of indigestion or upset stomach. Four pairs of monoterpene acylglucoside diastereoisomers are described for the first time.
