Abstract
Unknown N-phenethylamide together with known ent-kaurane diterpenoid derivatives was isolated from the fractionation of MeOH/CH2Cl2 (1/1) extract of the aerial parts of Senecio erechtitoides. The compounds were tested for antimicrobial activities using positive standards and the results justified the use of this plant in traditional medicine practice.
