Abstract
- A new triterpenic dipalmitoylester (1) was isolated from aerial parts of Chrysanthemum macrocarpum.
- Two cyclitols (2-3) and eleven known flavonoids and triterpenes were also isolated.
- Their structures were established by NMR and HRESIMS spectroscopy.
- The chloroform fraction and taraxasterol showed antibacterial activity.
- The chloroform fraction and taraxasterol showed cytotoxicity on human colon cancer HT-29 cells and human prostate carcinoma PC3 cells.
