Abstract
- Microbial transformation of β-lapachone furnished two new glycosylated derivatives.
- These metabolites are similar to those that occur in phase II of human metabolism.
- The major derivative was less active and more selective than β-lapachone.
- The results are valuable for the development of rational approaches in drug design.
