Abstract
Four new long-chain compounds, leucoperoxyterpene (1), leucoester, leucoic acid, and leucoenoic acid has been isolated from aerial parts of the medicinal plant Leucosceptrum canum together with fifteen known compounds. Compound 1 was found to be a member of the rare class of peroxy open chain natural products exhibited moderate antibacterial properties.
