Abstract
⺠A new acylated flavonoid (6) was isolated from the Sorbus torminalis inflorescences. ⺠6 was identified as isorhamnetin-3-O-[6â³-O-(3â´-hydroxy-3â´-methylglutaroyl)]-β-d-galactopyranoside. ⺠Nine further phenolic compounds were found for the first time in this plant. ⺠These include seven flavonoids and two caffeoylquinic acids.
