Abstract
⺠Five new phenolic compounds (1-5) were isolated from the heartwood of Dalbergia candenatensis by following their antioxidant scavenging and cytotoxicity. ⺠All compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods. ⺠Compound 5 exhibited potent activity against DPPH radical scavenging with IC50 the value of 25.7 μM. ⺠Compound 2 showed cytotoxicity against NCI-H187 cell line with IC50 value of 14.8 μM.
