Abstract
⺠Phomopsis sp. PSU-MA214 produced a rare ethyl derivative of tetrahydroanthraquinones. ⺠The ethyltetrahydroanthraquinone showed weak antibacterial and cytotoxic activities. ⺠The biosynthetic pathway of the isolated anthraquinone derivatives was proposed. ⺠This is the first report on the X-ray data of the known tetrahydroaltersolanol C.
