Abstract
⺠Both tomenphantopin C and tomenphantopin D were new compounds. ⺠All compounds were isolated for the first time from Elephantopus tomentosus. ⺠Compounds 4 and 6 were isolated for the first time from Elephantopus. ⺠The compounds 2-5 were found to possess cytotoxic activities and antibacterial activities.
