Abstract
⺠Two new triterpenoid saponins were isolated from the roots of Cybianthus magnus. ⺠Their structures were deduced from chemical methods and spectroscopic analysis. ⺠Both compounds exhibited hemolytic and anti-leishmanial activities against axenic amastigotes. ⺠Both compounds exhibited in vitro growth inhibitory activity against cancer cell lines.
