Abstract
⺠Both trigonoheterene and trigonoheterone were new compounds. ⺠The present study is the first report of the occurrence of a naphthoquinone in Trigonostemon species. ⺠Both 3,4-seco-sonderianol and trigonochinene E were isolated for the first time from Trigonostemon heterophyllus. ⺠The four compounds were found to possess cytotoxic activities and antibacterial activities.
