Abstract

Three new sesquiterpenoids (1-3) and a new pimarane-type diterpenoid (4) were isolated from the fermentation broth of the wood-decay fungus Xylaria sp. BCC 5484. The structures were elucidated by analyses of NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometry data. The absolute configuration of eremophilane 1 was addressed by application of the modified Mosher's method.
