Abstract
⺠Two new triterpene glycosides, namely scoposides F-G (1-2) were isolated from Cephalaria scoparia (Dipsacaceae). ⺠The novel ones and eleven known compounds were identified by extensive spectroscopic techniques. ⺠Besides scoposides F-G and the pure compounds (6, 7, 9) were tested for the first time and they showed considerable antimicrobial activity against different types of bacteria.
