Abstract
⺠Two new compounds have been isolated from the root bark of Turraeanthus mannii (Meliaceae). ⺠(3R,4R,3â²R,4â²R)-6,6â²-Dimethoxy-3,4,3â²,4â²-tetrahydro-2H,2â²H-[3,3â²]bichromenyl-4,4â²-diol and 15-acetoxy-labda-8(17),12E,14Z-trien-16-al. ⺠15-Acetoxy-labda-8(17),12E,14Z-trien-16-al exhibited antifungal and cytotoxic activities against Mucor miehei and Artemia salina, respectively.
