Abstract
⺠Two new dammarane triterpenoids, namely aglinone (1) and aglinin E (2) were isolated from Aglaia smithii (Meliaceae). ⺠The novel compounds and three known compounds were identified by extensive spectroscopic techniques. ⺠Cytotoxic activity was tested for the pure isolates (1-5), and they showed weak-moderate activity against P-388 murine leukemia cell lines, in vitro.
