Abstract
⺠We isolated an endophytic Penicillium glabrum strain from pomegranate fruits. ⺠From the ethyl acetate extract of the cultured endophytic fungus we isolated two new and four known metabolites. ⺠The structures of the new metabolites were determined by thorough spectroscopic analysis. ⺠The new compounds were identified as two yangonin derivatives, namely 3-methyldesmethoxyyangonin and 3-methylbisnoryangonin.
