Abstract
⺠New triterpenoids, inonotsutriols D (1) and E (2) were isolated from I. obliquus. ⺠The structure of 1 was determined as lanost-8-ene-3β,22R,24R-triol. ⺠The structure of 2 was determined as lanost-8-ene-3β,22R,24S-triol. ⺠Cytotoxicities of compounds 1, 3-8 were examined using P388, L1210, HL-60, and KB cell lines. ⺠Compound 1 exhibited cytotoxic activity against all four cancer cell lines.
