Abstract
⺠Salsola imbricata is a medicinal plant of the Egyptian desert. ⺠Two new triterpene glycosides have been isolated from the roots of S. imbricata. ⺠S. imbricata was found to contain noroleanene-type glycosides. ⺠Noroleanene-type glycosides have never been reported in Salsola genus.
