Abstract
► Salsola imbricata is a medicinal plant of the Egyptian desert. ► Two new triterpene glycosides have been isolated from the roots of S. imbricata. ► S. imbricata was found to contain noroleanene-type glycosides. ► Noroleanene-type glycosides have never been reported in Salsola genus.
