Abstract
This study describes urban ethnopharmacy practices of traditional Chinese herbal medicine (TCHM) in central London, including shop characteristics and employees' views and behaviours toward the safety and effectiveness of TCHM. Understanding these issues will help inform initiatives aimed at ensuring better practice of TCHM in the UK and protecting the public health.
