Abstract
Three novel flavonoids, 6â³-O-3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaroylorientin (1), 6â³-O-malonylvitexin (2), and 4â³-O-3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaroylvitexin (3) along with five known compounds, orientin (4), isoorientin (5), vitexin (6), isovitexin (7), and 6â³-O-3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaroylvitexin (8) have been isolated from the shoots of Eleusine coracana.
